Gold Country Base USSVI Meets on the 4th Saturday of every month at the Folsom VFW Post 6604 at 1300 Forrest St, Folsom, CA 95630. The potluck lunch is from noon to 1pm. The meeting starts at 1pm.
The Timothy H. Spoon Achievement award is a process to recognize outstanding effort and contribution to Gold County Base of USSVI. Please complete your nomination form and get them submitted before October 31st. The Timothy H. Spoon Achievement Award is open to both Base Members and Associate Members.
On October 25, 2019 the Mare Island Historic Park Foundation hosted a public celebration to commemorate and dedicate the sail of the USS MARIANO G. VALLEJO (SSBN-658). Over 200 former crew members were expected for the event. The actual ceremony took place at 1pm at the Mare Island Museum 1100 Railroad Avenue, Vallejo, California 94592….
It is renewal time for the Boat Sponsorship Program (BSP). The AMERICAN SUBMARINER is the quarterly magazine published by the US Submarine Veterans, Inc. and is a major benefit that all USSVI members receive.
